Lauren just asked, “Mommy go onna bus kareeum, see fish an sharks today?”

I told her, “Not today, but maybe tomorrow or the next day when it’s raining.”

She replied, “Raining outside mommy, see, my head wet, lets go!” and patted her head.

Only problem? It’s SUNNY today!

Elliot is 2 months old!

Thursday, April 19th, 2007

We visited a new doctor (family practice this time) for Elliot’s 2 month checkup. He was a few days older than 2 months, but not quite 9 weeks old, and he is a whopper.

He weighed in at 15 lbs and 2 oz, and just about 25″ long. By manipulating data from WHO and the growth charts, he will likely be over 25 lbs before he turns 1. Even better than that, he’s going to be at least 6’2″ as an adult. We’ll see how accurate those charts are in about 18 yrs. :)

Happy Easter

We were in Ohio from April 5th until the 15th. Traveling with both kids on a plane is an adventure in itself, but we made it, thanks to a few helpful flight attendants and Grandma meeting us at the arrival gate.

In prime Cleveland weather, it snowed a ton, it started snowing on the 5th and didn’t stop before Easter. Lauren had a blast sledding with Nono in the backyard, playing with Lala, Granma, Evie, Cole, and Uncle John. Nonnie and Nona both fufilled their duties by spoiling her as much as possible.

Hunting for eggs was nearly impossible in the snow…

Lauren also discovered the magic of plastic surgery.

And Elliot outgrew all his 3-6 month sleepers.
